Maydin Sipayung – CEO
Maydin Sipayung holds a degree in Mining Metallurgical Engineer from the Bandung Institute of Technology, ITB (1986) and Master of Business Administration from School of Business and Management ITB (2002) as well as Master of Energy Economics from Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia (2007) and Doctor of Business Management from the Graduate School of Business of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) in Bogor (2012).
He began his carrier in 1987 as the Junior Researcher in the Mining Metallurgy Research Centre Operation Department of Freeport Indonesia, Papua. In 1989 he moved to Astra Group as Department Head of Production Planning & Control and in 1990 promoted to Marketing Manager. In 1993 he moved to PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam Tbk (Persero) as Staff of Technical Director and in 1994 promoted to Marketing Development Manager for Coal Briquette Development Project until 2001. Before he resigned voluntarily from PT Bukit Asam Tbk in 2004, the last position was Senior Staff Marketing.
He is the Managing Director for 2006 – 2011 period, and become the CEO since July 2011 until present, in PT Coalindo Energy which together with Argus Media Limited (London) managing the Indonesian Coal Index (ICI).
Arianto Sasono – Director
Arianto Sasono is currently is serving as Director of PT Tuah Turangga Agung since 2015, President Director of PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral since 2023 and President Director of PT Telen Orbit Prima since 2019.
Has a long journey of occupation in PT Pamapersada Nusantara, he started his career in 1999 and continued his professional experiences in various company under PAMA Group from 2018 until 2023 such as PT Piranti Jaya Utama, PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral, PT Prima Multi Mineral, PT Kalimantan Prima Persada, PT Asmin Bara Bronang and PT Asmin Bara Jaan.
He graduated from Brawijaya University in 1996 majoring Civil Engineering.
He join the Board member in PT Coalindo Energy as Director in 2023.
Muhamad Fadhil – Director
Muhamad Fadhil is SVP, Strategy and Business Development at Argus, focusing on expansion sectors and Asia strategic initiatives. Before joining Argus, Fadhil was Head of Middle East Markets for ICIS in Dubai, where he led market engagement and strategy.
He also previously worked for Channel News Asia, Hill & Associates and the O&S Group of Companies. Fadhil holds master degrees from IE Business School and the National University of Singapore. He is currently a doctoral student at Warwick Business School.
