MEMR DECREE 268.K/2025 ISSUED
The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources officially issued the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No: 268.K/MB.01/MEM.B/2025 signed on August 8th, 2025. This rule provides flexibility in selling commodities below the benchmark price, but it still requires the payment of taxes and royalties based on the benchmark price for minerals (HPM) and the benchmark price for coal (HPB). EXCEPTION FROM MEMR DECREE NO. 268.K/2025
Decree of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No: 268.K/MB.01/MEM.B/ 2025 signed on August 8th, 2025, which revoked the Decree of Minister No: 72.K/MB.01/MEM.B/2025, provides exceptions for holders of IUP, IUPK, contract of work (CoW), and CCOW who already have a sales contract with a price below HPM or HPB. HPM AND HPB LOWER LIMIT OF SELLING PRICE
The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources emphasized that the benchmark price of minerals (HPM) and the benchmark price of coal (HPB) serve as the lower limit for the selling price of metal minerals and coal. INCREASING COAL IMPORTS VIA SEABORNE

MAJOR SUPPLIER TO CHINA
Indonesia becomes the major supplier of coal to China with a figure approximately at 16.13 million tons in August 2025. This is the highest number in five months. 66.5% OF COAL PRODUCTION FOR EXPORT

ADDITION OF TUGBOAT FLEET
PT Hasnur Internasional Shipping Tbk announced that the company has added a set of new fleet in the form of 23 hasnur tugboats (tb) with 2,200 horsepower and 312 hasnur barges (bg) with a capacity of 8,000 metric tons. (Tempo.co)
