COOPERATIVES HAVING OFFER TO MANAGE THE MINES 

The government officially allows cooperatives, including people's mines, to manage mineral and coal mines. COAL RESOURCES AND RESERVES

FERTILIZER FROM COAL 

PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk stated that it will sell low-calorie coal downstream products in the form of organic fertilizer called BA Grow. THE HIGHEST EXPORT CONTRIBUTOR 

The head of Statistics Indonesia for South Sumatra, Moh Wahyu Yulianto, said that Palembang City, OKI Regency and Lahat Regency were the main contributors to exports in South Sumatra by more than 77% in the first semester of 2025. 70% OF PNBP FROM COAL 

Director General of Mineral and Coal, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Tri Winarno, said that approximately at 70% of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) mining sector comes from the coal industry. In 2024, this sector would contribute approximately at IDR143 trillion to the state treasury. In 2025, the government targets non-tax revenues from this sector at IDR23 trillion. (Detik)
